This is a practical website policy draft for Ninth Theory MXF Viewer. It should be reviewed before public launch, especially before accepting client uploads, payments, analytics, or production Google/Dropbox access.
1. Delete individual jobs
Go to the History page and use the delete option on a job. This should remove the local job record and associated generated files for that job.
2. Clear all jobs
The History page includes a clear all jobs option for removing generated job history and local preview data.
3. Remove Google Drive access
- Inside the app, delete the local Google token file from storage/tokens/google.json.
- Inside your Google Account, remove app access from Google Account security settings.
- Reconnect only when you want the app to list/import Drive files again.
4. Local development storage path
In the local MVP, generated media and job records are stored inside the project storage folder, usually storage/jobs/ and storage/shares/.
5. Production deletion requests
Once the app is public and uses hosted accounts/storage, users should be able to request deletion by emailing mark@initialone.co.uk. The production version should also include in-app deletion for uploaded media, previews, review links, and account data.
